Definitions

* FamilyDefinition of the family is grounded in our belief that scripture (Bible)

teaches us that a family is the union of one man and one woman lawfully

married, and includes their children, be that by natural birth or adoption, which

God has placed into that family unit.  Our definition further includes those

parents who are widowed, are single parents, or have blended families.  The key

to our definition is the Biblical understanding of marriage, a lawful union

between a man and a woman.  Our definition of family does not include those

who are not legally married or who society defines as domestic partners.

* Bible- Believing ChurchWe understand the term “Bible-Believing” to mean

that the church accepts the Bible as the true word of God, infallible, and without

error.  We also understand that the church doesn’t put any other writings above

the authority of the Bible or on the same level (importance) as the Bible.  We

further understand that the Bible is used in this church to instruct its members

how to live and walk the Christian lifestyle.
