Imperialism

      Attention to control all other nations by economic or political means. Some American that called themselves anti-imperialist league did want to take over the philipines so they were against imperialism. America was founded on the principles of freedom so we believe people of other countries should be free to choose their political rights and run their economy. People who believe in imperialism view it as a way to help  country which is weak on its own.
