Put on the full armor of God!

Andrew Carnegie got his first job working at a textile mill like this one.

Andrew Carnegie

Andrew was known as the richest man at his time.  But he didn't start out rich. He was born on November 25 in Dunfermline Scotland. His father was a weaver, and the Carnegies were a working family. He defiantly didn't start out being rich. When Steam powered looms began to be used more often in Scotland many hand loom workers were unemployed. Including Andrew’s father. When Andrew was 13 his family moved to the US. The found a home in Pittsburg and Andrew got a job as a bobbin boy in a textile mill. He earned a total of $1.20 per week.
