Factories and Workers

Many women did not do labor work at the factories., because they were so unskilled. Everything changed, however, when the skilled men were not a big enough labor force.  They would talk loudly to be heard over the machines. Then, the force would usually sing songs to keep their spirits up. The overseers only allowed it because it kept a rhythm to their work. You were paid on however many pieces you made.
