The United States has a capitalistic economy. People that live in the US are able to create and sell goods and services for profit. The French’s theory is that production results in open competition and free trade. America had this policy prior to the depression on 1893. During the time of the depression prices were being raised and farmers and workers were beginning to dwindle because there was a lesser demand for their goods. In the early 20th Century they called for a Reform Movement. It’s target was to get rid of government corruption and inefficiency through the civil war service.
