Populist Party is made

 It was started by Mary Lease because she persuaded farmers to make an alliance. In it farmers helped other farmers earn money for machines to aid in their framing.  The two biggest alliances were The Northwestern Farmer’s Alliance and The Southern Farmer’s Alliance. In 1892 they held a convention that established The Populist Party. They gave their delegates nicknames like Sockless Jerry Simpson and Pitchfork Ben Tillman. Bankers and other businessmen disliked their main idea. The Populist Party thought that silver should be worth more than gold.
