Women began fighting for their rights in the late 1800s, but they didn’t get them till the early 1900s. Even the black men by the 15th amendment had their right to vote before the women. Many associations were developed through the years that they fought. Their fight was not just for the right to vote, but for the right to be respected in the eyes of America. The women fought so hard and in the end it was worth it. Now they’re part of our government, and are involved in many of our political parts today.
