International Expansion

                 Josiah Strong believed strongly that our duty as Americans was to spread our technology. Senator Beveridge, Reverend Strong, and many others wanted the United States to get involved in foreign affairs. After the war people became more concerned with the world beyond their North American Continent. Previous to the Civil War the United States focused most of its time spreading across the United States. A lot of United States citizens thought it was their “God given right” to take over the world and the continent.
