Our Solar System
Third Grade Project
The Third Graders from Miss Van Beek’s homeroom are studying our Solar System. They have learned about moons and stars. Our star, the sun is awesome. Our earth revolves around it all year long.
As part of this unit each student was assigned a specific planet. Each researched his/her planet. The the student worked on making a Power Point Presentation which includes an introduction slide, a slide with a minimum of 3 facts, a slide with pictures and a Works Cited slide. Much of the information came from http://kids.nineplanets.org/intro.htm which is a wonderful internet site. You are invited to open the students' presentations and explore their work.
