6th Grade Recycling |
Every other Friday the 6th grade students spend the last 20 minutes of heir afternoon recycling bottles and cans. Throughout the week, RCS students place their bottles, cans, half-eaten twinkies, potato chip wrappers, and old history notes in the blue bins designated for recycling. Sporting protective gloves, the 6th graders eagerly separate the trash from the items that can turn into cash. Money raised goes to help with the cost of 6th grade Science Camp on Catalina Island in October. |
