On consecutive Wednesdays February 3 and February 10 Redlands Christian School students had the awesome opportunity to ask questions of Jeff and Kathi McNair. Jeff and Kathi are professors from California Baptist University and together they have over 50 years experience working with people with various disabilities. Jeff and Kathi spent the morning talking to our students about disabilities and answering ANY questions they had. Although the morning was geared toward disability awareness, it became more of a time celebrating human differences and appreciating who God made each one of us to be. Jeff and Kathi shared that in each of our uniquenesses, we are richer because of our differences and we have so much to offer one another. Jeff encouraged us to carry out our God given responsibility to care for one another just as God cares for us. Jeff demonstrated to the students how sometimes we see each other as separate yet God sees us all the same; He loves each one of us for who we are and that we are created in His image worthy to be respected and honored no matter what our differences.
