Redlands Christian Learning Centers
The RCS Learning Center is made up of three sections -the Special Education Center, the Opportunity Center and the Enrichment Center.
The Special Education Center facilitates students who have mild to moderate learning needs and require specialized academic instruction. Our goal is to have them be an active part of our student population. Like all of our students, our special needs students belong to our regular classroom first, and then go to the Special Ed Center when those services are better for them. Our goal is to place an appropriate emphasis on individualized programs, skill and social development, as well as community building and spiritual growth. The Opportunity Center provides small group classes which cover the regular curriculum but give students more monitored instruction and assistance in their work. These classes are offered for students in grades 4 through 8. The center also provides extra support to primary grades in reading, phonics and math. |

The Enrichment Center is available to students who need an extra challenge in their school work. The staff goes to each classroom on a regular basis and presents extra "thinking outside the box" activities to the entire classroom.
