LITTLE KNOWN FACTS

When I was ten a boy asked to marry me but I said no. In the spring of 1879 my older sister had a stroke and made her blind. Then  my older sister went to college and I took a 2 month schooling job for money to keep Mary in her college. In 1877 pa bought a piece of land and built a house on it. In the summer we moved AGAIN! I was getting tired of moving. Then I met someone named Almanzo. A couple of months after I met Almanzo he asked if I would marry him. I said yes! Then after we had been married for a couple of years we had a baby girl and named her Rose. Then we had a baby boy who died a few weeks after he was born. When Rose grew up she went off and married someone without me and Almanzo knew.
